1. What do I need in my life to be happy? Love | family | friendship | companionship | work | freedom | comfort | challenges | physical & spiritual nurishment | plans ahead | goals to strive toward.
2. What are my favorite colors? yellow & blue
3. What would I pack in my bag to head out for a day in a new city? Camera | snacks: almonds, raisins, energy bar, fruit leathers | map/guide | Moleskine journal.
4. Is it possible for me to go without ever buying an automobile? Depends on where I live, what I do, and what other transportation options are available. A bicycle is great … but what about the reality of Minnesotan winters?

5. What activities give me energy? Walking | writing | bicycling | having good conversations.
6. Why do siblings have the potential to be such important and influential people in your life? You’re related and share similar upbringings, you understand things about each other and are especially protective of your siblings’ well-being. Siblings can also be your best friends. Reliable, consistent friends who tell you the truth. My sisters are examples of how important and influential siblings can be.
7. What’s the best thing that happened to you today? I was walking down a street in a suburb of Washington, DC, and a girl my age complimented me on my jacket as we passed by each other. Having a random act of kindness directed toward you is an awesome feeling. I couldn’t help but reflect upon her deed. Minutes later an older man asked me for some spare change. I didn’t ask why, I simply opened my change purse and handed him $2. He thanked me, blessed me, and we went our separate ways.

8. How do I stay organized? I make lists and carry a journal and a pen at all times. I also remember how good it feels when tasks are accomplished and off my radar.
