Having Becky here inspired me to look closer at the people and places in my daily life here in Berat. We were a photographing duo, cameras rolling, ready to capture what we found while exploring Berat together.

The daily market in Berat, selling new and used things. The two little girls asked me to take their photo. It’s one of my favorites.


I could go out every evening snapping photos of the old men making the ‘xhiro’ and I don’t think it would get old. They have such a style and I’m pretty sure you can’t top it unless you’ve walked in their shoes for the past 70-80 years.
