Congratulations, Viti IV!

My fourth year class

The 38 students above are the first English class at ‘Kristo Isak Skolle e Mesme’ to graduate from the Foreign Languages department. Having completed four challenging, yet enlightening years filled with learning and studying and preparing for life both throughout and after high school, I’m very proud of every single one of these students.

At the very moment we’re in the midst of creating a yearbook and planning for both a graduation ceremony and an ‘all night and into the morning’ celebration party. July 9th is the ceremony and it will be American style, with graduation gowns (compliments of the pattern from my St. Ben’s gown) and caps and each student coming up to a stage to receive their diploma. This will be a totally new way of doing it all but it’s been their idea since the first day I met them last summer. I’m excited to help them make this dream of theirs a reality.

The party on July 10th will be, from what I hear, an 8pm - 6am affair. Formal wear and a night of dancing. I always wanted to relive prom … maybe I can get Ben to come in for this?!

Congratulations, Viti IV (fourth year students) and I’m excited to experience these end-of-year festivities with you!
