Experience Albania: Travel, Pictures, History, Culture

Greetings from Elbesan, Albania - all is going so well and I am so happy to be here!  The journey over here went great.  Austrian Airlines treated us well and got us to Tirane in one piece.  We have been welcomed and treated to a T by every single person - from those at the aiport, to the PC staff, to the people here at the internet cafe.

This willbe short, but more to come.  Internet is going to be a challenge, but workable.

On Sunday I move to my host family’s home in a little villiage. The Albanian PC staff members said it is a very beautiful village that is surrounded my lakes - sounds wonderful to me!

My host dad is a mechanical engineer, my host mom is a midwife, my brother (29) is a police officer, my sister (25) is a teacher, and my other sister (16) is a student.  I am so excited to meet them.
